Refund and Returns Policy
General
All sales of Brane Technologies hardware and software are final. We build and configure each system to order; as such, we cannot accept returns for refund or exchange except in cases of defective merchandise covered under warranty.
Hardware Returns
- Hardware (workstations, boards, accelerators) may only be returned if determined to be defective on arrival (DOA) or covered by the 3-year limited hardware warranty.
- Any return requires prior written authorization from Brane Technologies (RMA number). Units returned without authorization will be refused.
- Returned hardware must be shipped in its original packaging with all accessories. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Upon receipt, Brane Technologies will inspect the product. If confirmed defective, a repair or replacement will be provided at our discretion. Refunds are not issued except in cases where replacement is not possible.
Custom Builds
All custom configurations and special-order systems are non-refundable and non-returnable. Warranty coverage applies to defects only.
Software & Licenses
- All software sales (including Brane SDK Developer and Enterprise licenses) are final and non-refundable once delivered or activated.
- Academic free licenses are not eligible for refund, exchange, or upgrade.
Restocking & Fees
- If Brane Technologies, at its sole discretion, accepts a return outside of warranty/DOA, a minimum 20% restocking fee will apply.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Risk of Loss
Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery to the carrier. Customers are responsible for filing claims with the carrier in case of loss or damage in transit.
Limitation of Liability
Brane Technologies is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or loss of profits. Total liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.
